The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Economy, Getoar Mjeku, welcomed the Ambassador of Sweden to Kosovo, Jonas Westerlund.
In addition to discussions on bilateral relations, Prime Minister Kurti and Ambassador Westerlund also spoke about the meeting that Prime Minister Kurti and Sweden’s Ulf Kristersson held at the Security Conference in Munich. A meeting which Prime Minister Kurti assessed as very positive.
Furthermore, they talked about the economic relations between the two countries, about the need and the potential of increasing trade exchanges, and about the opportunities that Kosovo offers to foreign investors in the field of mining.
Ambassador Westerlund informed Prime Minister Kurti about the interest of Swedish companies to invest in Kosovo, and they discussed the initiative to open the Nordic Economic Chamber in Kosovo, which would contribute to the deepening and growth of economic cooperation.
