Cooperation to advance towards Euro-Atlantic integration and joint commitment to economic development and the rule of law were the topics of the meeting of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, with the President of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, Stephen Heintz, and the Director of the Western Balkans program of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, Mia Vukojevic.
In the meeting, Prime Minister Kurti emphasized the current institutional stability, positive economic indicators and reforms in the justice system.
They talked about strengthening the quality of democracy through accountability and transparency, as well as advancing sustainable development, by focusing on renewable energy and on a healthy environment. Opposing the Russian invasion and military aggression in Ukraine, the effects on Europe and the world were discussed.
Also, they discussed about the support and cooperation of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund with local organizations in Kosovo, towards strengthening democratic practice, sustainable development and promoting a European future for the Western Balkans region.
