The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, participated in the end-of-year celebration organized by the German foundation Help-Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe, which since 2015 has implemented various employment projects in the country.
Thanking for the invitation and for training citizens, especially women, for the labor market through the provision of over 2,000 professional trainings, Prime Minister Kurti said that professional training is a fundamental part of the reforms that the Government is undertaking in education and employment.
“We are happy that as the first government to prioritize professional training and education, this school year we have already started piloting five training programs in the field of masonry, information technology, tourism and hospitality, hairdressing and cuisine”, said the Prime Minister.
He also appreciated the work of “HELP” in supporting people with Down syndrome, adding that despite the fact that the Government has declared this year as the Year of Persons with Disabilities, more can always be done to empower those who they need it for the purpose of full and equal inclusion in our society.
In this organization, “Help” presented the achievements for this year and the plans for the next year.
