Prime Minister Kurti presented the 2023 budget to the citizens of the Municipality of Pristina

The budget for 2023 was the topic of the meeting of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, with the citizens of the Municipality of Pristina.

Together with the Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, Hekuran Murati and the Minister of Local Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi, Prime Minister Kurti presented to the citizens some of the projects and initiatives for the coming year, which aim to increase well-being and development.

Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that next year’s budget is the highest in the history of our Republic, and will be worth 3 billion and 212 million euros.
The budget dedicated to local government and municipalities is planned to increase by around €100 million, from €560 in 2022 to €660 million in 2023. For the Municipality of Pristina, the planned budget for 2023 is over €109 million.

The Prime Minister singled out some of the most interesting projects for the citizens of this municipality that are foreseen in the budget for the next year in education, health, security, culture, sports, youth and cultural heritage.

The presentation of the budget for 2023 started on Tuesday, in the Municipality of Prizren, continuing yesterday in Mitrovica, and will be presented in other municipalities, where citizens will have the opportunity to talk with the Prime Minister and ministers, and give their thoughts on the 2023 budget
