On the 25th anniversary of Mother Teresa’s death, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani Sadriu and the Speaker of the Assembly, Glauk Konjufca, paid homage to her statue in Pristina.
From a daughter of our people, she became the mother of the whole world and today, as we remember her and honor her figure, we also affirm the example that everyone should follow, working with love and sacrifice for the good of to everyone, Prime Minister Kurti said.
Mother Teresa gave everything of herself and took nothing from the world, he said, adding that in this way, she also affirmed our nation, because sacrifice is also a traditional value of the Albanian people.

Yesterday we marked the 6th anniversary of Mother Teresa’s canonization, while today we are marking the 25th anniversary of her death.
The life of Mother Teresa is a work for all humanity and an example for human. From a daughter of our people, she became the mother of the whole world and today, as we remember her and honor her figure, we also affirm the example that everyone should follow, working with love and sacrifice for the good of all of you.
