The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met the Vice President of Switzerland, Viola Amherd, and the Minister of Economy, Guy Parmelin, within the framework of the World Economic Forum that is being held in Davos, Switzerland.
Prime Minister Kurti expressed his deep gratitude for Switzerland’s contribution to Kosovo and for the continuous assistance in economic and democracy development programs.
The importance of our emigrants in Switzerland, who are a bridge between our two countries and contribute to the economy of both countries, was emphasized.
They talked about the possibilities for more cooperation in the economy and defense. With special emphasis, there was also talk about the exchange of experiences in information technology and education.
Prime Minister Kurti reiterated the commitment of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to structural reforms in the economy, politics, rule of law and functional democracy in accordance with European standards.
