The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, and the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister, Luan Dalipi, met today with the representatives of the companies “Kosmonte Foods” from Kosovo and “Perutnina Ptuj Group” from Slovenia, which are dedicated to new investment in the field of poultry breeding and production and processing of fresh poultry meat products.
“Perutnina Ptuj Group” has 117 years of tradition in this sector, employs over 3,700 workers in 7 different countries, has over 500 associates who raise birds in their natural environments, owns 6 production factories and exports to 20 countries around the world. While their partner for Kosovo, “Kosmonte Foods” with a 22-year tradition, is also their representative for the market of Albania, Germany, Dubai and Qatar.
The Executive Director of “Perutnina Ptuj Group”, Enver Sisic, presented to Prime Minister Kurti and other representatives of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo the idea of investment with concrete indicators.
Prime Minister Kurti welcomed the expression of interest of partners from Slovenia and Kosovo to invest in Kosovo and assured the investors that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo is doing its utmost to facilitate the environment for doing business and investing in Kosovo. Credible international companies that bring knowledge with a focus on quality, safety and traceability, with their product distribution networks around the world, are welcome to invest in Kosovo, Prime Minister Kurti said.
Meanwhile, Minister Hajdari informed the representatives of the companies “Perutnina Ptuj Group” and “Kosmonte Foods” about the competitive advantages to invest in Kosovo and offered them institutional support in fulfilling the interest expressed for investing in our country.
