The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met the Prime Minister of Finland, Sanna Marin, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum that is being held in Davos, Switzerland.
Thanking her for the contribution of Finland to Kosovo before and after the declaration of independence, Prime Minister Kurti emphasized the good relations between the two countries.
Prime Minister Marin expressed support for Kosovo for membership in the Council of Europe and the European Union.
There was talk about increasing the number of Finnish soldiers in the NATO peacekeeping forces in Kosovo (KFOR) to 70.
Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo is committed to structural reforms in the economy, politics, rule of law and functional democracy in accordance with European standards, for good neighborly relations and regional cooperation.(Edited)Restore original
