The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, during his visit to London, was today received in a meeting by the leader of the Labor Party in the United Kingdom, Sir Keir Starmer. The Labor leader was accompanied by his deputy, Mrs. Angela Rayner, while Prime Minister Kurti from our ambassador, Mr. Ilir Kapiti.
A number of topics of mutual cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and the United Kingdom were discussed, as well as the current political developments in the world, especially after the military aggression and the Russian invasion in Ukraine.
Solidarity with the Ukrainian people and the unity of democracies and progressives against autocracies was established as a common priority.
Prime Minister Kurti briefed Sir Keir Starmer on Kosovo’s progress in rule of law and economic growth, and thanked him for Labour’s historic role in supporting Kosovo.
Sir Keir Starmer also offered Prime Minister Kurti support for Kosovo in the international arena and integrations.
