The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received in a meeting the Head of the OSCE mission in Kosovo, Ambassador Michael Davenport.
Prime Minister Kurti and Ambassador Davenport spoke about the current cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in matters of interest to both parties, where OSCE helps the Government and institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.
They talked about the actions in the protection and respect of human rights, with a focus on minority communities in Kosovo. Also, for strengthening the implementation of the Law on the Use of Official Languages and actions towards the establishment of the Translation and Harmonization Unit, within the Office of the Prime Minister, to facilitate access to information of public interest.
In this meeting, the continuation of cooperation for the prevention of gender-based violence and the economic empowerment of women was also discussed.
