The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met in Madrid the former Secretary General of NATO, Javier Solana.
After the privilege of a visit with Mr. Javier Solana at the national museum Museo Nacional del Prado, where he is the Director of Patronage of this internationally renowned museum, Prime Minister Kurti had a warm and open conversation about the state of Kosovo, the region, but also Europe, in the face of the Russian war in Ukraine.
Prime Minister Kurti expressed gratitude for the role of Mr. Solana during two defining moments for our people: our liberation in 1999, as well as the declaration of independence in 2008. The experience of Mr. Solana, as former Secretary General of NATO and former High Representative of the EU’s Foreign and Security Policy is precious for the Republic of Kosovo and unforgettable for the people of Kosovo.
