Prime Minister Kurti meets with the EU High Representative, Josep Borrell and the EU Special Representative, Miroslav Lajčák

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, who is staying in France to participate in the Peace Forum in Paris, before the start of the forum, met with the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell and the Special Representative of the European Union for the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue, Miroslav Lajčák.

The dynamism of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, the implementation of the decision on illegal license plates, the latest developments in Kosovo, and other current issues were the central topics of the meeting, which was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Kreshnik Ahmeti, and the advisers to the Prime Minister, Jeton Zulfaj and Fisnik Korenica.

Prime Minister Kurti emphasized the elements of the framework agreement for the full normalization of relations with mutual recognition at the center, while he said that the Franco-German proposal, which has the support of the United States of America and the European Union, presented by envoys Jens Plötner and Emmanuel Bonne , serves as a good basis for further discussion.

Talking about the recent developments in the north of the country, Prime Minister Kurti reiterated that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo has shown determination for the rule of law and commitment to maintaining peace and security in the country.
