The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the Chief of Staff, Luan Dalipi, welcomed David Patton, president of the American Council, and Michael Kurtis, vice president for strategic development. Gjeni Shporta, representative of Kosovo in the American Council, and Qendrim Gashi from the Kosovar American Education Fund (KAEF) were also present at this meeting.
Mr. Patton and Mr. Kurtis expressed their gratitude for the cooperation and support from the Government of Kosovo, assessing it as an extremely valuable investment for the future of the Republic of Kosovo through the education of young people in the top universities of the USA. Those present highly appreciated the cooperation between the KAEF program and the Government in various fields.
Prime Minister Kurti reiterated the commitment of the Government of Kosovo to pave the way for young people for a quality education as well as to offer them access to the labor market.
The American Council has administered and supported international scholarships for hundreds of educators and professionals in various fields, as well as students and high school students.
