The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted in a meeting the organizers and seminarians of the 40th International Seminar on Albanian Language, Literature and Culture.
Congratulating them for their interesting and high-quality lectures and publications, Prime Minister Kurti emphasized the commitment for increasing institutional support and care for Albanian studies.
The organizers expressed gratitude for the unreserved support, as they said, given by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo for the seminar.
It was discussed about the necessity of increasing the support for Albanology publications in Kosovo and Albania. The importance of creating a common platform for quality Kosovo-Albania publications, under the leadership and editing of these publications by eminent names in the field of Albanology, was emphasized.
In this meeting were present the Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, the Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Lendita Rugova, the Director of the Seminar, Shkumbin Munishi, the Head of the Albanian Language Department, as well as researchers participating in the seminar: Anton Panchev from Bulgaria, Linda Meniku, from Albania, Jan Jensen from the Netherlands, Giuseppina Turano from Italy, Emese Nemeth from Hungary, Ekaterina Tarpomanova from Bulgaria, Ledio Hala from Germany/Albania, Lumnije Jusufi from Germany, Barbara Jarysz Markaj from Poland, Olivier Andreas Winistorfer from Switzerland.
During the meeting, it was highlighted that this jubilee seminar, in addition to the high number of participants, also brought many new innovations that have reached the expectations of the organizers.
