The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted in the meeting the Mayor of Lezha, Pjerin Ndreu.
They discussed about the possibilities of enhancing cooperation in tourism and the development of a joint competitive touristic offer in the region, which promotes touristic, culinary and craft assets of both countries. In addition, it was discussed about the opportunities in exchanging experiences in agriculture and agro-tourism.
Prime Minister Kurti stressed that co-operation between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania should elevate the nation and improve both economies.
Mr. Ndreu expressed his gratitude to the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo about the progress of the summer touristic season in Lezha. He was happy to have already conceived a realistic co-operation system, and feels proud that Kosovo and Albania nourish each other through tourism.
In the meeting attended and Ambassador of Albania in Kosovo, Qemal Minxhozi, Deputy Mayor of Lezha, Eueda Molla, Director of Tourism in the Municipality of Lezha, Renaldo Xhanej and entrepreneurs and local producers from the Municipality of Lezha.
