The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted in a meeting Mrs. Micheline Calmy Rey, former Federal President of the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, at the same time president of the “Avni Orllati” foundation.
Prime Minister Kurti expressed his deep gratitude for Switzerland’s support to Kosovo before and after the war.
Mrs. Calmy Rey was interested in the developments in Kosovo, especially in terms of the economy, and congratulated the Prime Minister for the Government’s work in the fight against crime and corruption.
They discussed regional relations as well as plans for the membership of the Republic of Kosovo in international organizations.
In this joint meeting, the Minister of Finance, Labour and Transfers, Mr. Hekuran Murati, winner of the “Entrepreneur of the Year 2020” award in Switzerland, Mr. Avni Orllati, as well as the Ambassador of Kosovo to Switzerland, Sami Ukelli, were also present.
They also talked about the plans and projects that the “Avni Orllati” foundation plans to develop in Kosovo.
