The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by KSF Colonel Ejup Maqedonci, hosted in his office Brigadier General Joachim Hoppe and Brigadier General Ralf Hammerstein, Director of the NATO Advisory and Liaison Team (NALT) in the Ministry of Defense and the Kosovo Security Force.
These days, General Hoppe ends his mandate as Director of NALT, and General Hammerstein will begin to exercise this duty. Prime Minister Kurti thanked him for the continuous cooperative and constructive approach with the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, with special emphasis, for the unstinting support of him and his team for the professional development of the Kosovo Security Force and the development of the Ministry of Defense.
During his tenure, General Hoppe together with his team made a significant contribution to the drafting of military medicine policies as well as other areas related to strategic planning in the Ministry of Defense and KSF.
He said that the Ministry of Defense and the Kosovo Security Force are moving in the right direction in accordance with their development plans and that the counseling for increasing the capacities of the KSF is being done in accordance with the standards of NATO countries. As he thanked Prime Minister Kurti for the close cooperation.
At the same time, Prime Minister Kurti congratulated General Hammerstein on his new task and responsibility as Director of NALT and assured him that the cooperation with the NALT team will continue with the aim of further advancement.
