Prime Minister Kurti held a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan

Today, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, held a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Turkey, Rexhep Taip Erdogan.

On behalf of the Government of the Republic and the people of Kosovo, Prime Minister Kurti once again expressed his condolences to President Erdogan, and through him, to the families of the victims of the earthquake and the entire people of Turkey. He also thanked President Erdogan for his generous hospitality in Istanbul on February 3, where they had a very productive meeting that will serve to further strengthen relations and permanent friendship between our two countries.

Prime Minister Kurti said that Kosovo is not a big country but with a big heart, which has shown generosity to everyone in their difficult days. Finally, to Ukrainians and Afghans. Kosovo is and will always continue to stand by friendly countries in their difficult days, especially Turkey.

President Erdogan thanked Prime Minister Kurti for full solidarity with the state and people of Turkey, who is going through the worst disaster in this century. He thanked for the decision for support and aid, for the members of the KSF who did search and rescue in the ruins, as well as for announcing the day of mourning in Kosovo.

They also talked about the last meeting in Brussels for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, for which President Erdogan welcomed the result achieved, expressing his support for Prime Minister Kurti and his willingness to help.
