Prime Minister Kurti commemorated Commander Zahir Pajaziti

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the President of the country Vjosa Osmani Sadriu, the Deputy Prime Minister Donika Gërvalla Schwarz, paid tribute to the statue of the hero Zahir Pajaziti, on the 26th anniversary of the fall of the heroes Zahir Pajaziti, Hakif Zejnullahu and Edmond Hoxha.

Remembering and commemorating commander Zahir Pajaziti and the other martyrs of the nation, at the same time we show how great the price was for our freedom, for our state, for our independence and how valuable this is for the present and the future memory and this commemoration that is done both by the institutions and by the citizens of our country, said Prime Minister Kurti.

He said that Zahir Pajaziti, Hakif Zejnullahu and Edmond Hoxha were dedicated to the liberation war, but at the same time they were also precursors of the Kosovo Liberation Army, since they carried out liberation actions even before the war began.

Together with the president of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Vjosa Osmani – Sadriu, with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Donika Gërvalla – Schwarz and with other ministers of our government, members of the Assembly and colleagues and collaborators in institutions and politics, we placed fresh flowers here at the memorial of commander Zahir Pajaziti in the capital, in Pristina.

26 years ago, the commander Zahir Pajaziti together with Hakif Zejnullahu and Edmond Hoxha fell heroically in Pestovo of Vushtrri. They were dedicated to the liberation war, but at the same time they were also the forerunners of the Kosovo Liberation Army since they carried out liberation actions even before the war started.
