Dimitrije Markovic and Nenad Jeremic have been banned from entering Kosovo by the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo. The decision to ban entry was made due to their actions against the Republic of Kosovo’s sovereignty and national security.

Markovic and Jeremic are known for pro-Russian elements; under the guise of humanitarian activities, they have continuously spread propaganda against Kosovo, inciting inter-ethnic hatred, with the goal of harming the country’s image and portraying the state of the Serbian community in Kosovo unfairly.

In July of this year, the European Union drew attention to the increased risk posed by extreme right-wing groups in the Western Balkans region. One of the detainees accompanied and was a member of the far-right organization “European Solidarity Front for Kosovo – ESFK” during their visits to Kosovo, which included Czech, German, and other European citizens. This organization promotes anti-Western sentiments while maintaining close ties with Russia.

The ESFK was classified among right-wing extremist movements in the “Report on extremism in the territory of the Czech Republic”, published in 2013 by the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic.

In 2019, the security bodies of the Republic of Kosovo arrested eight members of this organization, who had planned to fly a drone over the “Fadil Vokrri” stadium with the inscription “Kosova is Serbia”.

“Dogodine u Pri Z renu” (next year in Prizren), is one of the many photos with the background of Russian President Vladimir Putin, published on Markovic’s social network.

Moreover, Markovic is also known for close relations with officials of the Liaison Office of the Russian Federation in Kosovo, respectively with the former head of this office, Andrei Lisovoi.
