In the building of the Parliament of Greece, during the official visit to Athens, yesterday
the first deputy prime minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, had separate meetings with MPs Dora Bakoyannis and George Papandreou.
During these meetings, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi emphasized that Kosovo continues towards the path of progress, positioning the country in a trajectory of development and democracy. As the most recent evidence of this indicator, we have the democracy report of the V-Dem institute, where Kosovo ranks first in the Western Balkans region.
The conversations that took place were also focused on the process of Kosovo’s European integration and applications for membership in the EU and the Council of Europe, as well as in relation to Kosovo-Greece. Kosovo aims to strengthen friendship and partnership with Greece.
With the deputies Mrs. Bakoyannis and Mr. Papandreou, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi talked about the dialogue process, developments and the last meeting in Brussels.
