The First Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, hosted in a meeting the new Ambassador of Finland to Kosovo, Matti Nissinen.
Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi congratulated Ambassador Nissinen during this first meeting on his new duty and responsibility.
During the discussion, he informed him of the Government’s achievements, the intention to apply for EU membership this year and the need for visa liberalization. Mr. Bislimi thanked him for the close cooperation and continuous support extended to the Republic of Kosovo by the state of Finland.
Ambassador Nissinen said that he highly appreciates the importance of democratic countries such as the Republic of Kosovo and is a supporter of the progress and development of Kosovo and its journey toward the European Union.
