The First Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosova, Besnik Bislimi, hosted in a meeting the Albanian Ambassador to Kosova, Qemal Minxhozi.
During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi took the opportunity to congratulate Ambassador Minxhozi for the historic decision to open negotiations for membership in the European Union of the Republic of Albania, together with North Macedonia.
This step marks an important decision for the future of the Western Balkans towards the European Union, which Kosova fully supports and rejoices in the success of the Republic of Albania and North Macedonia.
The acceleration of the integration process is vital for the European perspective of the Western Balkans. Ambassador Minxhozi thanked Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi for the congratulations, expressing that he hopes that soon there will be concrete steps for the liberalization of visas for Kosova.
