The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, hosted the member of the German Bundestag, Christoph Ploss.
Germany is one of the most powerful allies and a friendly country of Kosovo. Relations between Kosovo and Germany continue and deepen within the framework of close cooperation between our two countries in areas of common strategic interest. Renewable energy and the green agenda are high on Germany’s agenda and support for Kosovo.
Kosovo’s European journey was also discussed, where Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi mentioned that our country has aligned its foreign policy with that of the EU, we have applied for membership in the Council of Europe and recently for membership in the European Union, and steps forward have been made towards the liberalization of visas, where today the text on liberalization was approved by the EU ambassadors.
Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi thanked the deputy for the continuous support of German institutions towards Kosovo, especially the German Bundestag, on the European integration process.
