At the invitation of the Vice President of the European Union, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Baroness Catherine Ashton, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi traveled today on an official visit to Brussels.
Prime Minister Thaçi will hold a meeting with the President of the European Union, Herman Van Rompuy, with the EU Vice President, Baroness Catherine Ashton and other senior European Union officials.
During his stay in Brussels, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi will hold meetings with members of the European Parliament.
The main theme of all Prime Minister Thaçi’s meetings in Brussels will be speeding up Kosovo’s European agenda, starting visa liberalization dialogue, Kosovo’s contractual relations with the EU and the EU Council of Ministers support for Kosovo’s membership in the European Bank for Development and Reconstruction.
