We are getting this part of Kosovo too out of past discriminatory politics, isolation and lack of development – said Prime Minister Thaçi in Runik of Skënderaj

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, accompanied by the Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Ramë Buja, and the President of the Municipality of Skënderaj, Sami Lushtaku, inaugurated today the new school in the village of Runik in Skënderaj.

Congratulating the students and teachers on the new school of a European model, Prime Minister Thaçi said that this region too is leaving behind an age-long discriminatory politics. 

“This is the first school to be built after the Second World War in this region. So, we are getting this part of Kosovo too out of the past discriminatory politics, and also from isolation and lack of development,” said Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi, adding that investments in education will continue to remain one of the key priorities of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo. 

“Now there will be sufficient and suitable space that meets the highest standards for all the students, for all the teachers so that they there is proper education that the schoolchildren of this area deserve. Therefore, investments will continue throughout the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo,” – said Prime Minister Thaçi.
