The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, received the new head of EULEX, Giovanni Pietro Barbano, in a meeting.
Congratulating Mr. Barbano for the new position and role at the head of the EULEX mission, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi expressed his dedication and maximum commitment to the continuation of the cooperation between the Government and EULEX.
It was discussed about the cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the institutions of order and security with the mission of EULEX, in order to strengthen the rule of law, as well as about the developments in the country.
Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi emphasized the Government’s commitment to protecting the freedoms and human rights of all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo without distinction, as well as maintaining peace, order and security in the country.
